Review

My wife introduced me to this camp ground years ago when we first got married. Her family has been camping here every summer since she was young. And since she brought me here, we have been bringing our children here.

With recently updated bath toilets, individual showers, and power/water at each site, the county has been slowly updating the park over the last few years. Prior to these upgrades the camp ground was showing its age.

The beach is a clean and cool place to beat the summer heat. Our kids plan to spend at least an hour each day there.

The camp ground has a boat launch for water sports or fishing boat access. Across the lake is a small park with a fishing pier if you do not have a boat. And biking and walking trails circle the lake.

And with the walking trails and museums no more than 15 minutes away in Norway and Iron Mountain there is more than enough to do over our week long stay. Of course be sure to save room for ice cream at the Ice Cream Barn after dinner.

And the end of the day you can go back to the beach and watch the sun set over Lake Antoine. In the distance on top of pine mountain can be seen the Pine Mountain Ski Jump.
