Happy Thanksgiving to all of my followers and your families. This time of year is full of parties and family gatherings. Thanksgiving is a time to remember all of the blessings we have received this year and give thanks.
This year has been a hard one for my family. Lots of changes and not all of them have been good. We still have blessings we can count though. Even the trials have a hidden blessing.
However this week means more to my family than just Thanksgiving. Growing up this was deer hunting week. A time for the men in my family to harvest deer and tell stories. I can remember many hunting camps sitting around the fire listening to the stories of hunting from my father grandfather and uncles.
This year my son was finally able to harvest a deer. He has been coming to camp for a couple of years now and partaking in this tradition for my family. And I looking forward to many more years with my father and son at deer camp.
Now I do not usually talk about my pictures in these blogs as I feel they should speak for themselves. Art is supposed to speak to the individual. But in posts I take pictures from the trails that I am reviewing and allow you to enjoy them. In this post however I am placing a few seasonal pictures as well as some from the land I hunt on.
Please enjoy these pictures and leave a post if they speak to you. Thanks again for reading.
Love your snowy shots. Makes me excited for Christmas!
