Review
To call this reserve small would over estimate its size. However with its raised boardwalks you can easily hike all of the walking paths.
Wild life is used to observers here, often letting get almost too close for both you and the animals themselves.
But keep your eyes open cause some of the wild life is still hidden from view.
Flowers are abundant but so are the mosquito so make sure you have a good coating of bug spray.
If you do find yourself in the Appleton Area with some time and want a small walk in the swamp. Visit Heckrodt Wetland Reserve, you’ll enjoy it.
